CFA Institute Webinar Series – The FX Global Code: Why It Matters Now

Join the conversation on transparency and trust in FX.

ACI FMA would like to invite the members of our affiliated Associations to attend the next session of the CFA Institute Webinar series, which will take place on 19 March 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET.

In this session, “FX Global Code: Why It Matters Now,” participants will learn about the FX Global Code, with a focus on buy-side adoption and market-wide implications.

The FX Global Code establishes principles that promote integrity and transparency in the global FX Market. While adoption by sell-side institutions has been swift, buy-side uptake has progressed more gradually. This session explores the Code’s relevance for buy-side firms, outlines effective adoption strategies, and explains its role in strengthening trust and governance.

This webinar is eligible for 1 Professional Learning (PL) credit, which CFA Institute members can add to their tracker. The webinar is organized in partnership with the Global Foreign Exchange Committee, and ACI FMA is pleased to promote it.

Key Takeaways

  • Gain insights into how the FX Global Code addresses key market practices, including last look, pre-hedging, and disclosure.
  • Learn from firms that have successfully implemented the Code and improved outcomes.
  • Discover practical resources designed to support a smoother adoption journey.
